SIRA-Approved Osteopath – Christian Paesano
Christian Paesano is an experienced osteopath and a registered provider with the State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA), which governs the delivery of healthcare services for individuals injured at work or in motor vehicle accidents across New South Wales.
Being SIRA-approved means Christian can provide treatment as part of a patient’s rehabilitation under the Workers Compensation or Motor Accident Injuries schemes. His services are delivered in accordance with SIRA’s clinical guidelines to ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based care.
What is SIRA?
The State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) is the NSW government body that oversees the insurance and healthcare systems related to:
- Workers Compensation
- Compulsory Third Party (CTP) Motor Accident Insurance
- Home Building Compensation
If you’ve been injured at work or in a motor vehicle accident, and your claim has been accepted by your insurer, you may be eligible for osteopathic care funded through these schemes.
How to Access Osteopathic Care Under SIRA
- Seek Medical Advice
After your injury, visit your GP to assess your condition. If osteopathic treatment is appropriate, your GP may include it in your treatment plan and provide a referral. - Obtain Claim Approval
Ensure you have an approved SIRA claim through your employer’s workers compensation insurer or your CTP insurance provider. You will receive a claim number once approved. - Book an Appointment
Contact our clinic with your: Claim number, Insurer’s details & GP referral (if required) – Our team will liaise with your insurer to confirm coverage and ensure a smooth billing process. - Begin Treatment
Once approved, Christian will provide a personalised treatment plan aimed at supporting your recovery and helping you return to work or daily life safely and efficiently.
